Welcome to Commander Cars. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and our private hire taxi and airport transfer services. By making a booking with Commander Cars, you agree to these terms.

1. Bookings

  • Bookings can be made through our website, by telephone, WhatsApp, or email.
  • All bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability.
  • A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation from Commander Cars.
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup, destination, contact, and passenger information.

2. Pricing & Payment

  • All fares quoted are in Pound Sterling (£).
  • Prices are based on the journey details provided at the time of booking.
  • Additional charges may apply for:
    • Extra waiting time
    • Additional stops
    • Parking fees
    • Airport pickup parking charges
    • Road tolls or congestion charges where applicable
    • Changes requested after confirmation
  • Payment may be made by cash, debit/credit card, bank transfer, or any other payment method offered by Commander Cars.
  • Corporate account customers must pay invoices within the agreed payment period.

3. Waiting Time

Standard Pickups

A complimentary waiting period may be provided. Any additional waiting time may be charged at the applicable rate.

Airport Pickups

We monitor incoming flights where flight details are provided. A complimentary waiting period begins after the flight has landed. Additional waiting time beyond the free allowance may incur extra charges.

4. Flight Delays

If you provide your flight number when booking, we will monitor your flight and adjust the pickup time where reasonably possible.

If your flight is cancelled, significantly changed, or diverted, please contact us as soon as possible. Additional charges may apply depending on the circumstances.

5. Cancellations

  • Bookings cancelled with sufficient notice may be eligible for a full refund.
  • Late cancellations may incur cancellation charges.
  • If the driver has already been dispatched or has arrived at the pickup location, the full fare may be payable.
  • No-shows may be charged the full booking amount.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Passengers must:

  • Arrive at the agreed pickup location on time.
  • Treat drivers and vehicles respectfully.
  • Wear seat belts where required by law.
  • Ensure children are seated in accordance with UK regulations.
  • Inform us in advance if child seats or additional luggage space are required.

7. Vehicle Capacity

Passengers and luggage must not exceed the legal capacity of the booked vehicle.

Commander Cars reserves the right to refuse travel if the number of passengers or luggage exceeds vehicle limits.

8. Pets

Pets are only permitted with prior approval when making the booking.

Registered assistance dogs are always welcome in accordance with UK law.

9. Smoking, Food & Alcohol

Smoking, vaping, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited inside our vehicles.

Drivers may refuse travel where passengers are excessively intoxicated, abusive, or pose a safety risk.

10. Damage to Vehicles

Customers are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or members of their party.

Cleaning charges may apply where excessive cleaning is required due to spillages, vomiting, or other damage.

11. Lost Property

Commander Cars is not responsible for items left in vehicles.

If property is found, we will make reasonable efforts to return it. Delivery or postage costs may apply.

12. Delays

While we aim to arrive on time, Commander Cars cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Traffic congestion
  • Road closures
  • Accidents
  • Severe weather
  • Vehicle breakdowns
  • Public events
  • Flight delays
  • Police or emergency incidents

13. Right to Refuse Service

Commander Cars reserves the right to refuse or terminate a journey if a passenger:

  • Becomes abusive or threatening.
  • Puts the driver or other passengers at risk.
  • Causes damage to the vehicle.
  • Is carrying illegal or dangerous items.

14. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the booked journey except where liability cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

Commander Cars shall not be liable for indirect losses, missed flights, missed appointments, or business losses resulting from delays outside our reasonable control.

15. Website Use

The content on this website is provided for general information only.

Commander Cars may update website content, pricing, or services without prior notice.

16. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

17. Changes to These Terms

Commander Cars may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on this website.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
